Le match s’est déroulé ce mercredi 15 juin 2022, au stade Gaston-Peyrille de Bitam. Les buts de l’Union sportive d’Oyem (USO) ont été inscrits par Lionel Nguema (13e) et Mebiame Edzang (36e). Bouenguidi Sport a égalisé par Bonaventure Sockambi (89e) et Samin Yobo (90+2).

L’UNION sportive d’Oyem (USO) ne s’en prendra qu’à elle-même. Du moins, à son entraîneur, Claude Pascal Kossi, qui n’a pas été capable de mieux gérer la fin du match au moment où son équipe – qui jouait pourtant en infériorité numérique depuis la fin de la première période – menait au score (2-0) jusqu’à moins d’une minute de la fin.

Bouenguidi Sport de Koula-Moutou, grâce à son expérience, a eu les côtes solides et surtout la foi, pour d’abord, réussir à réduire par son attaquant et ex international gabonais, Bonaventure Sockambi (89e). Il a profité d’une mauvaise sortie du gardien Oyemois, Guillaume Eyaga Mbore (qui jusqu’à cet instant était irréprochable), avant de marquer dans les buts vides. Ensuite, le numéro 7 Koulois, Samin Yobo va finalement tuer tout suspense, en égalisant d’une magnifique reprise pleine lucarne d’un centre d’un coéquipier (90+2).

Répondant ainsi, avec la manière, aux réalisations de l’USO de Lionel Nguema (13e) qui, d’un magnifique lob, battait le dernier rempart de Bouenguidi Sport, Nick Moudounga, . Les Unionistes Oyemois vont même doubler la mise d’une tête piquée imparable de Mebiame Edzang (36e).

Une joie qui s’est transformée en frustration et regret, lorsque le très moyen directeur de la partie, Jonas Mbady, a mis un terme à cette partie très plaisante.

Une rencontre au cours de laquelle e très remuant et virevoltant milieu de couloir gauche de Bouenguidi Sport, Bienvenu Ngoua Obibayi (n°8), a été désigné homme du match par la ligue nationale de football professionnel (LINAFP). Une partie que les deux équipes ont terminé à dix à cause des cartons rouges écopés par Mebiame Edzang (deux cartons jaunes) d’USO et Simplice Ndong Abaga de Bouenguidi Sport.
